Good Guide reminds us of some lessons from the E. coli outbreak in Europe. I appreciate that we are in the midst of some real financial troubles here in the US, but is this really the time for the House of Representatives to be voting to lower the President’s budget for food safety measures? Specifically, can we afford to spend $87 million LESS than last year on FDA food supply oversight?
This is the wrong direction for our health and wellbeing.
