I bought the book "Die Oesterreichische Kueche" originally because it is a reprint of my mother's cookbook. The copy we had was so old it had lost pages and those that remained were very thin. I'm looking forward to recreating some of my favorite childhood recipes.
I love it! I especially like the extra information, like which game is in season at which time of the year - of course, it is talking about the Austria of the past, not Australia of the present! In a sense, it is an historical document, well worth the price - if you read Germanic script and understand the language.
